Parent Society

One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. About Our Parent Society

Our Parent Society is known as the Friends of Orange Association.

The Friends of OrAnge Association (FOAA) is a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for William Aberhart High School. While meetings are held following school council on the last Monday of the month, FOAA is a separate legal entity from William Aberhart School Council.

Objectives

The Friends of Orange Association (FOA) objectives shall be to raise funds and provide financial support to the school community of William Aberhart High School for the purpose of enriching the education and experience of all students; including academic, athletic, recreational, social or vocational initiatives.
